The title [O]GLED in English represents a word play – about looking, eye, view, mirror, experiment, essay
[O]GLED is an edition whose structure is on the crossroad between a collection of essays and a magazine. In the form of an “extended monograph”, the theme of each issue is initiated by the artistic practice of one artist, with a central block of texts dedicated directly to the author of the issue, and surrounding essays and studies that allow wider contextualization of the central theme in the fields of contemporary art practice, theory of art, philosophy, science, sociology, economy …
This proposed approach to artistic work relationally activates theoretical, phenomenological, historical and social arguments that are at the core of the artwork, but also arise from its nature.
[O]GLED examines new categories of approach to contemporary art practice and a broader cultural and social analysis of artistic production.
